Benefiting Secondhand Hounds
On Friday, September 8th, at 6PM, Secondhand Hounds is excited to bring Bone Appetit to McNamara Alumni Center in Minneapolis!
Join Minnesota’s largest animal rescue, Secondhand Hounds, for a memorable evening of delectable food, inspiring stories, a live auction, and opportunities to support animals in need!
Bone Appetit is a fundraising event to aid Secondhand Hounds' mission of saving the lives of animals and inspiring change. We have saved over 26,000 at risk animals and with your support we will be able to save thousands more!
This is Johnny Bananas, an old English Bulldog, who came to Secondhand Hounds as an orphaned newborn pup needing help. Johnny B had a myriad of health issues including a cleft lip/pallet. After weeks in our Neonatal Program, he was able to find his perfect forever family and is now living a happy, normal life!
When you attend SHH's annual Bone Appetit gala, purchase an auction item, share this event with your friends, or donate... you are helping animals like Johnny Banana. Animals that just need someone to say yes. Help us say yes to thousands more animals and celebrate our amazing community at Bone Appetit this year. We can't wait to see you there!

You can support Secondhand Hounds by joining us at Bone Appetit this year! As you enter the event, you will be welcomed with a red carpet experience then spend the first part of the evening sipping specialty cocktails, trying amazing and unique food at our seated dinner, kissing puppies, and learning more about SHH. We will end the night with a program hosted by Frank Vascellaro with an exciting live auction, a speech with SHH Founder and Executive Director, Rachel Mairose, and opportunities to make a difference with Secondhand Hounds.
